Registered Provisional Psychologist, BSc, MEd
Do you feel stuck and/or unable to live in a way consistent with your ideals? Alyssa is here to help you get control and urgency back into your life. She believes that each individual has the capacity to heal and her role as a therapist is to provide the support and guidance needed to achieve this. Alyssa understands that each individual experiences and processes events differently, so it is important to assist healing in a unique manner that fits each client.
Alyssa incorporates collaborative evidence-based approaches, including working with emotions, cognitions, and behaviors while facilitating insight. She ensures a safe and comfortable space to help fully explore the source of suffering. Alyssa has experience working with couples and individuals (adults, adolescents, children) who struggle with addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, difficult life transitions, and more.
Alyssa is a Provisional Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She received her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology degree from the University of Alberta in 2019 and her Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 2016.
