FAQ

How long is each therapy session?

A typical counselling session is 50 minutes long.

Do you offer sliding scales?

This only applies to psychological services. We do offer sliding scales for people with limited finances. This can be discussed at intake.

How much are massages?

Cost will depend on the length of the massage as well as the treatment modality. Rates are posted on our online booking site. We do offer a one time special rate for all new clients. We also offer a special rate for seniors 55+ years old.

What forms of payments do you accept?

Payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard, Cash, or e-Transfer and is expected at the start of each session.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes, we offer direct billing to many insurance companies including Alberta Blue Cross, ASEBP, Green Shield Canada, Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, and many more. Please contact us to see if we can direct bill to your insurance company. Also, it is your responsibility to double check with your insurance company to see if they cover the therapist you would like to see.

For NIHB clients, your counselling is fully covered. All we need for direct billing is your treaty number and your date of birth.

For counselling, you do not need a doctor's note before seeking services.

For massages, many benefit plans will require a doctor's note. It would be beneficial for you to upload or send your doctor's note to your insurance company before seeking services to ensure a smooth transaction.

What do I do if the clinic door is locked?

If the door is locked, don't worry! Your therapist will open the door for you as soon as they are available. Thank you for your patience.
