About Andrea
Life often unfolds at a pace that can feel overwhelming, spinning around us with societal expectations and the pressure to tick off a checklist of life commitments: friendships, family, career, education. Yet, amidst this whirlwind, we often discover that we might end up stuck from the balancing act for others and ourselves.
That is where Andrea comes in by offering a sanctuary with acceptance, respect, and compassion that honors your unique life experience. Practicing from a feedback-informed approach, Andrea utilizes various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solutions-Focused Therapy to assist you in reaching your goals. The heart of her practice centers around a Person-Centered Approach that prioritizes building a strong therapeutic bond to stimulate change.
Andrea works with a variety of mental health concerns including but not limited to: self-esteem, depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, grief/loss, chronic pain, chronic illness, and racial identity. She provides services for adolescents (14+), adults, elders as well as couples.
Andrea is a Registered Provisional Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologist. She received a Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge.
